Liz & Kim: French Nude Postcards

This was Liz's second photo shoot. We decided to come in out of the cold and do a studio shoot. She brought her friend Kim along. They had both posed as artist models for drawing classes at universities, but rarely for photographs.

I brought out my collection of French Nude Postcards for inspiration for this set. The girls looked through the cards to get ideas for poses. They often mimiced the exact card, but usually would just get a feeling from it and do something similar. I tinted the photos with a nice sepia color to match the originals. Mine are a lot sharper than the old faded cards of days gone by. I think they would have appreciated all the extra detail back then.
