6/29/06

I have not updated this news page for a long time now.. but I have been working on the site in the background. I've been adding new galleries into the new database, but not the old areas. I am finally making the transition and replacing the old format. I've had both areas active for a while, and the new area seems to be working fine. I will be replacing the free gallery and preview area with the same system soon. I have it installed already, I just need to get the pictures in place so nobody misses anything.

My next task would be to switch this news page to blogger so it is easier to update.

As far as shoots go, I did a few shoots here in Spokane in the winter, which you can see in the new gallery in the members area. I also did a couple shoots in Hawaii this month while there for an unexpected trip. I'll be getting those photos into the new gallery soon.

Unfortunately, it looks like I will be skipping the Oregon Country Fair this year. We've had a lot of financial and personal tragedies this year, and just can't handle the extra time and expense a trip like that would take.

I'm changing over the whole website to a canned gallery program. My current gallery is just getting too unweildy to handle updating often enough. The new gallery is database driven, so I only have to add the photos and it takes care of making the links and galleries, etc.

Also, viewers now have the ability to add comments to their favorite photos. This will require you to create a second login name for the gallery feature. I'm sorry I couldn't figure out how to tie it in with the billing.

I am still transferring all the photos to the new gallery, but members can preview it here. Please feel free to give me feedback on it so I know I'm making the right decision. I will be making a non-member preview gallery soon, so all the free content will be moving into it soon. This will also allow me to add more free previews easily.

I finally added a gallery of Cammy at the Beach. It was a somewhat hidden preview gallery for a long time now, so I edited it down to the best 99 photos from the shoot.

A couple weeks ago I also added a new section of Vintage nudes. I've been collecting old photos, slides, and negatives for many years now. The currect gallery is from another photographer who is selling off his old negatives as he moves to digital. The prints from these negatives have been very popular on eBay, so I thought I'd add them to my website, even though they aren't my own work. Enjoy the photos!

I must apologize for going for such a long time with no updates. I decided to move my family this spring to a more affordable area, so we bought a house on the other side of the state. It's taken us the last couple of months to fix some things on it before we moved in, then we had to fix up some things on the previous house to prepare it for selling. Things are starting to settle down a little bit. We are in our new house in Spokane now. I have one more trip to make to the Seattle area to finish a few things on the old house before the closing date (it sold in two weeks after we finally put it on the market.)

In the middle of all that, I did manage to take one more trip to Hawaii, and found a new model to do a couple of photo shoots with. I also got some model releases from models for shoots from the trip in November, so I can finally add a few more galleries.

I am currently working with a web person to update the website. We are looking at different gallery programs that will add a lot of features to the site, and will be easier to update than my basic homemade html.

I also resumed my eBay sales last week after 2 1/2 months. Sales have been a bit slow, so I will try to get the new content up on the site and eBay as soon as I can.

Meanwhile, I'm doing a model search here in Spokane while we're getting settled. I will be setting up a studio soon, and hope to get a few outdoor shoots in while the weather is hot.

Sorry this is just a news update with no new pictures, but hang in there and there will be some big changes soon.

Well, October was a pretty crappy month. More hackers struck my site again, but this time they "only" used my ISPs mail server with my account to send spam. So although it didn't affect my website directly, my ISP decided to cancel my account instead of trying to find out who actually sent the spam, or how someone compromised their mail server without it logging an IP addresses.

I have moved my website to a new ISP, who is much more on top of this with security so these problems should be a thing of the past. But this has caused a few minor problems so you may notice a few things on the site not quite right yet. Regardless to say, this unplanned moved caused a considerable delay in everything else I was hoping to accomplish.

I am adding a new gallery of Ocean in the Forest today. It isn't quite finished. I started editing the photos a couple weeks ago and am 80% done. I am heading to Hawaii in the morning though, so I wanted to get something up before I left. I will finish editing and add more pictures to the gallery when I return in December. With luck I will have many more pictures from Hawaii as well, since I plan on scouting out potential models at the nude beaches I used to frequent when I lived there years ago. I already have some old friends asking around. The beaches and jungle there would make an incredible back drop for some beautiful nude photos.

Well so much for getting on schedule. I'm finally putting up a new gallery. I've done 3 photoshoots in the last month, but have barely had time to edit the photos.

This was further delayed when my website was taken down last week, because I had too much traffic. Now normally this would be a good thing, but in this case some hackers posted some passwords to my site and within 12 hours enough people were stealing all my images that it overloaded my ISPs server. I wasted a good amount of time this week changing passwords and blocking IP addresses; when I would rather spend the time on providing new images to those that appreciate them.

I'll write more later, but for now, MEMBERS can check out two new gallerys of Ocean, the new model I mentioned in the last update. I'll have more photos of her coming soon, from an outdoor shoot in a forest. Thanks for your support. Chris

Just a quick note and an apology. I had hoped to get into a routine of adding a new photo set each week by now. Time is really flying now that I have a child, and it just seems to take me longer to get everything done.

I went down to the Kite Festival in Long Beach, WA two weeks ago, and had hoped I'd find someone to model for me on the beach there. It's ten miles of sand so there are plenty of places without too many people around. But on the first morning there, I took 14 pictures of my daughter's first day at the ocean, and my camera stopped working. So my mini vacation became very expensive fast. I went to the hotel and got online and ordered a new camera to be overnighted to my house... but that meant no sense finding a model at the beach.

I am now the proud owner of a new Canon 10D. It's a slight improvement over the D60 I was using, and I'm still getting used to the new features.

I got to test the new camera last week with Bettie. We did a studio shoot this time. I had hoped to get the gallery up by now, but just haven't got it done yet.

I also interviewed a potential new model yesterday and did some test shots. I think they turned out great and hope we can work together soon. I've also been emailing models in the area that I found on OneModelPlace and another website devoted to models and photographers. But I've been so busy I haven't even had time to write most of them back.

So, I apologize to everyone that's looking for new images. But as you can see I've been busy and hopefully it will pay off with more new photos more often soon.

I just updated Chloe's gallery. There are now 93 images from that photo shoot instead of only 25. It's always been one of my favorite shoots and I've been sitting on a lot of good images. I finally had some time to edit the rest. Enjoy the photos!

I hope everyone in the States had a great holiday weekend. I spent the day of the 4th taking pictures of about 20 eagles feeding while the tide was out. Quite spectacular.

On to the important stuff, please welcome Anna to the site. I will be making a preview for her soon, as well as adding a couple more galleries of her. This first gallery features Anna in a red corset. You can look forward to seeing her soon in a lace shawl, and then an artistic nude series.

In other news, I have a photoshoot scheduled for Monday with a woman I met last weekend at the Freemont Solstice Parade. That is always a really fun event with plenty of crazy people. Look forward to seeing some new photos soon.

I have a special treat for everyone today. Liz is in my area for the next few weeks, and I was able to do a photo shoot with her a couple days ago. I've always wanted to see her do yoga, since she has been a teacher for quite some time. She is extremely flexible, and I think you will all agree some of her poses are quite amazing. I was also able to do another maternity photo shoot this last week, and I'll have a great series of pregnant nudes up soon. Thanks, and let me know what you think of the new photos of Liz.

I am back on eBay now. It took a lot longer than it should have to get re-activated. They emailed me in response to my appeal before the 30 days and said I could resume, but they never admitted they were wrong. But after I replied to them and agreed to follow their policies (which I maintained I always had), it still took 3 more weeks before they finally re-activated my account. UGH!

On happier notes, I was out for a long holiday over Easter which I always spend with a large group of my Pagan friends. I met some great people and renewed some old friendships. And, I got to do a really fun photo shoot with a couple of them. So, I'll be posting a gallery soon. I am working on the CDs to send to the people involved so they can get their copies first, then I'll post our fun bathtub pics for everyone to enjoy.

Also, I did a breif shoot with a couple of Ska's friends about a month ago, and just got a model release from one of them today. I'll be able to finally post a few pictures from that shoot too. Ska and I are also planning a new shoot in the next week or so. Look for updates soon. In the meantime, enjoy some great auctions on eBay under my username: bodyimagephoto. I finally added a link for a new preview gallery. I've had the gallery up for a couple months, but forgot to link to it. Sorry.

I've been spending most of my time working on my aucitons on eBay this last month with many listings of new photos. That all came to an abrubt stop a couple days ago when eBay suspended me for 30 days. Even though I very carefully follow their policy by putting photos in the correct categories, they somehow don't allow my non-sexual art in the art category were it should be allowed by their rules.

In the meantime, if you've bought photos from me on eBay and would like to purchase some before the end of March, I will have a special of $10 per 8x10, and $2.50 per 4x6. I can give a quantity discount on 4x6s, but I can't go much lower on 8x10s as that's already a rock-bottom price. It's a great chance to pick up some quality art at a price everyone can afford. And I would greatly appreciate your support.

I am looking to schedule a shoot with Ska and her friends in the next few weeks, so I should have some new work up soon.

Happy New Year! I had a wonderful vacation visiting London, Ireland, and Iceland for the holidays. We were in Europe for 3 weeks, and I got a cold on Christmas. It was very nice to come home, but my cold got even worse. It's finely clearing up, after a trip to the doctor and 4 weeks of coughing.

I've started up my eBay auctions again under my bodyimagephoto account. So check them out if you are looking for some great deals on some of my more popular photos. I'll be making some updates to the site soon. Once my cold is gone for sure, I'll start scheduling some new photo shoots to get some fresh content on here. I did two shoots in November that I still have to put up here, so look for those first.

Hope everyone had a great Thankgiving.

I finished designing a calendar and uploading it to CafePress. It's available now in the store I created. I was hoping to design a store page for this site making a fancy link to the products, but I haven't got around to it yet. You can go to the store here.

I just uploaded a new gallery of Ska. I put the preview up a while ago, but now have a cropped and edited gallery that looks much better. Check out Ska's Flexability series here in the members only section.

I plan on working on the rest of the photos from that day's shooting and adding more galleries. I also have a shoot scheduled for Sunday with one of the girls from the last shoot I mentioned. She is bringing her boyfriend with her who apparently is very good at using rope. It should be a very interesting shoot.

I'll try to get as much online as I can in the next week. Some of these shoots may be uploaded as previews just so I don't have to wait until I edit all the pictures. I'll be going on vacation on the 15th for 3 weeks, so I won't be able to update the site until I get back after New Years.

I did a photo shoot today with someone I met through Friendster. It's a neat way to meet like minded people since everyone lists there interests in their profile. We had planned on doing a shoot in the hot springs, but she couldn't find anyone that wanted to go with us, since it is a couple hour drive then a hike for 2 1/2 miles. She did find a friend who decided to join us in a studio shoot. It turned out to be a very different shoot than I had imagined since we had talked about Goddess in Nature types photos. We ended up doing quite an assortment of studio shots from cute fairies, to girls hot for each other in fishnets and vinyl. We had a great time. I'm hoping to get this shoot online in the next couple of weeks. I forgot to get the models releases signed at the end of the shoot... so as soon as I get the ok, I'll put this gallery up.

First I must apologize for not updating the site for the last month. October is always my favorite month and I always seem to have a lot going on. This time I had even more than I counted on. Here it is the middle of November and the excitement isn't stopping.

I just celebrated Samhain last weekend which is a time of change and a new year among other things. And boy are things changing. At the end of October, (on my 35th birthday even), eBay decided I had posted too many photos of topless women in their Art >Photography category where they have a subject sub-category for "Nudes". They suspended me for 30 days, and after numerous emails I still don't have a clear reason how I violated their written policy which I am always careful to follow. Since my eBay auctions are where I do the bulk of my sales, and a large proportion of my customers find me there first, this has been quite a set back.

This week continued the changes when I found out my wife was pregnant, but then 8 hours later she got layed off from her job. We are happy to be expecting, but are worried about income now since she was our main support since I was layed off two years ago.

So, it's up to me to start pushing my photography business even more. The good news is that means I'll be focusing on this site even more.

One enhancement I'm experimenting with is a line of products using my photos. I started setting up a store at CafePress this week which makes a wide variety of producs like postcards, t-shirts, coffee mugs, etc. all with customizable artwork. So far I have only set up a few items with one of my favorite pictures of Chloe, but I plan on designing a calender using my more popular photos. I will also be taking requests, so if there is a favorite picture you would like to have on a mousepad or sticker or something, email me and let me know and I'll add it to the store.

The very basic store is here if you are curious. I'll be making another anouncement when it's really ready for primetime.

Another new gallery! I meant to have this one out last week, but got busy with lots of photo editing. Today's gallery is of Yvette who I mentioned back on the 24th of last month. This is a beautiful series of mostly black and whites. We are planning to do another shoot very soon, maybe this week.

I have also added a link in the members area for some preview galleries I have been working on. Because it takes me so long to go through the hundreds of photos I shoot at each session, I've made some preview galleries containing raw photos from a number of shoots. These are unedited, uncropped, and may need color correcting, touch-up, etc. But if you are brave or bored and want to wade through a few hundred extra photos to get an idea of what new galleries and models are in the line, check them out. New gallery today. I took pictures of my friend Bettie this August out at the beach. I was happy we got the opportunity to do a shoot before she left for college. I'm hoping to do a studio shoot with her when she returns during her winter vacation.

New gallery today is of a new model: Jewel. This gallery has some very sensuous photos, both nudes and in lingerie. We got some really interesting angles that look cool.

I also did a photo shoot today with a friend that I think will become a regular model on the site. She is one of my younger models at only 19. Ahh, the beauty of youth. I will try to process this series soon, as I'm sure everyone will enjoy them.

I added another gallery today from one of my early photo shoots using a model. While this one is not nude, it is still an interesting costume. We wanted to do something more "gothic" so the model brought a collection of sexy black clothes along. If you like these photos of Vixen, please let me know. I might be able to arrange another shoot with her since I believe she is still in the area.

Ok, here's a new gallery. This one is from last year when I took Sarah to Cougar Hot Springs the day after the Oregon Country Fair. It was a bit crowded with all the hippies and nature lovers in the area after the fair, but I always love hanging around such people so we had a good time. We even talked a few of the people into joining us for some photos. Many of this series has been shown on eBay, but I have thrown in a few new ones for those that liked the original series. Sorry I missed last week's update. I try to update the site at least once a week, and it usually has been 2 or 3 times a week. But I've had an especially busy summer and like all photographer's if I have a chance to get behind the camera, I take it. I would much rather be enjoying the sun when we have it here in the PNW, than be stuck in my basement in my digital darkroom.

I also bought a new computer today, so I'll be busy this week installing all my software and moving my photos and site to it. I'll try to get an update in at the end of the week. And with a new computer it should be a lot faster for me to process...

Today's gallery is one of my more popular series of photos, Cammy's Abstracts. I did many photo shoots with Cammy last year and got some great photos. But she didn't want her face to show on the internet so I was quite discouraged about putting her work up if I had to block out her face. We did a series of abstracts and silhouettes where her face wouldn't show, but I still didn't list any of the photos until the 8 months later. Much to my surprise, they were instantly popular. They were somewhat different, more "arty", than my usual photos.

I threw in a few pictures from that day's shoot that were a little unusual and that I never listed on eBay before. So if you are a fan of her original series you will find something new.

Today I uploaded another gallery from one of my very first nude photo shoots last year. I have auctioned off a few prints of Violet on eBay, and had a smaller gallery of some of these pictures on my old website. Many of these photos haven't been seen yet. Violet has quite the farm-girl appeal, and is very well endowed. This shoot has an assortment of pin-up type costumes, topless work, and full nudes including some rather graphic positions.

Did I mention many of my early models I found at the local "Exotic Dancing" club? I didn't know how to go about finding people to pose nude, so I started there. The women's experience in those early photo shoots definitely shows. Check out Violet's first gallery in the member's area.

Two New Galleries! I did two photo shoots with my friend Kim this last winter. She is a BBW (Big Beautiful Woman) who did some lingerie poses that have become very popular with her friends. New Gallery! Sarah's Long Hair. This is from my last shoot with Sarah on 4/17/03. We did our second studio shoot, and focused on pictures emphasizing her incredibly long hair. Then in June, she cut 20 inches off her hair length. It is still long since it now goes to about her bra line, but its nothing like the mid-thigh length hair she had. So check out this gallery for one of the last glimpses of her REALLY long hair.

I had a photoshoot today with a friend. She had wanted to get some photos with her dog who is getting up there in the years and may not be around for much longer. We did some interesting nudes with her and her dog in their back yard amongst some beautiful tree roots and ferns. We then moved on to the beach, without the dog, and did some poses in a white dress with long flowing sleeves. I'll put a few pictures up once I get them edited.

I have a shoot scheduled for Friday at noon. It's not the best time of the day for lighting, and it'll be really hot. I may decided to do it in the forest to minimize both factors, instead of on the beach where they would cause problems.

I'm editing photos today, and decided which gallery to add next...

Part 2. It actually took less than 6 hours for me to switch billing companies to CC-Bill. I had already researched them, so it was only a matter of going through the application, changing the links on the website, and waiting for them to activate the account. I am very pleased, since I have a busy weekend ahead, and didn't want to spend time messing around with part of the site that I thought were stable. I'd much rather be taking pictures, or putting up new galleries.

DANG! After only a month of using Glo-bill, they are having troubles with VISA (who is becoming very strict with Adult internet activity) and have ceased business. Current memberships will still work, but I am changing companies to handle all new sign-ups. I just finished filling out the applications for a different company, CC-bill, and hope to have it working over the next few days.

Oh, and I am no longer accepting VISA payments at this time. The new company requires a $750 fee for VISA, which is probably why Glo-bill had problems... Let me know if that is a problem for you, and based on how many people want to use VISA, I can try to justify the fee.

I added two more galleries to the members area. The first is Chantel, who I've sold many pictures of on eBay. There are quite a few pictures in the gallery that have never been on eBay before, so if you are a fan of hers, you'll want to check them out.

The second gallery is the first part of Benni's shoot. We did a number of costume changes, so I'm breaking the shoot into mini-galleries. This is the first of four. Enjoy the photos!

At the beginning of this month, I entered a contest at my favorite local coffeeshop. I wrote a little essay about the event with a copy of the photo and put it here. I also added it to the About Me page.

I did a photo shoot back in May with my friend Benni. We wanted to do a pin-up style shoot with poses reminiscent of Bettie Page. I am finally editing the photos, and hope to have a gallery up in the next couple days. Look for it soon.

I just got back from this year's Oregon Country Fair last night. What a weekend. We had a great time meeting people, listening to music, and hanging out with great company. And taking many pictures of course. I'll be editing the pictures this week and will put another free gallery up so everyone can enjoy them. I'm looking forward to receiving email from everyone I met this weekend so I can send photos out.

I have added the photos from last year's Oregon County Fair to the free gallery area. That's right, the entire gallery is free, not just a few preview images. I plan on adding other fun public events to the free area so all the attendees can see their pictures without needing a membership. I will be going to this year's Oregon Country Fair next week, and hope to come back with just as many great photos.

I added Ska's Pregnant photos today. It is a members only galley with 99 photos. I have not made a free preview page for this gallery yet. These are new photos that I haven't auctioned on eBay yet, so they haven't been shown anywhere before. If you are a fan of Ska's previous photos, you won't want to miss this beautiful series.

Part two: I am adding Destiny's photos in as four separate galleries, since the photos were easy to categorize. She posed with her pet snake, which is a very interesting sight. Then we have two different costume sets. One with a plaid skirt and white stockings, that don't stay on for long. The other costume is a black mesh body suit. Oh, and it's crotchless. She makes a point to show that off. Clearly. The rest of the photos are in the final gallery which is a mix of her being naughty and nice. Some with her husband at the time, and others by herself. Many close-ups included; she is not shy! Enjoy!

I just finished uploaded Ska's first photo shoot, from 4/4/02. It has been added to the members area only. It contains some different costumes as well as some graphic nudity, much more so than my usual shoots. She is very striking. If you haven't seen her and you are not a member yet, you should check out some of my eBay auctions where I usually have a few photos from this shoot for sale.

Today I finished adding all the requirements for Glo-bill. I added in the password protection to make this a membership site. The sign-up ability should be active with-in the next day. I had forgotten one requirement and just uploaded it now at 2:30am.

I also added another gallery of Sarah that I had ready to go. This one was taken in the late evening after the shoot at the hot springs that you may have seen on my old site. She was very sleepy in this shoot, but we got some interesting poses of her relaxing on her sofa and bed. There's also a couple fun shots. This gallery is linked in the members area only, and does not have any preview pics at the moment.

Most new galleries will be added this way at first, with previews added later as I get time. I'll announce each new gallery here in the news so you will know what is new.

I've just finished adding some more galleries. I think I have enough to enable the membership feature now. I'll add more galleries shortly after that. I'll be finishing adding the photos from the original site, with Destiny, Violet, etc. I'll also be adding many new photos that have never been seen before. I've had quite a few new models in recent months and am looking forward to adding them to the site soon. Enjoy the photos!

I've been away for the majority of the last 3 weeks due to a death in the family. I've been updating the site as much as I could on my laptop, and uploading the changes when I come home. I should be home for a while now, so I'm making a push to get the bigger changes finished. I've added many galleries. I also added a high-res feature so all images will be available in two resolutions. By clicking on the thumbnails you get a medium resolution (600 pixels on the long side) picture which is about the size I've used before on the site and on eBay. The new higher resolution image is reached by clicking the link below the thumbnail aptly named "high-res". This will bring up a new window with the image being 1200 pixels on the long side. This should be perfect for those with high-enough bandwidth who want to see more detail in the pictures.

Once I get a few galleries up and running, I will be implementing the membership fee. It will be a common subscription service with a monthly fee (to be determined.) I plan on giving customers who purchase photos (on eBay or on here) free time on the site as long as I don't have any problems implementing it. Currently the members only section is open with no fee required.

This is my new and improved website. Actually, it is much simpler than the shopping cart system I was using. I'm hoping this will make it much more reliable since it doesn't rely on an extra server to handle the dynamic pages. I will be updating this page with Blogger soon, so it will be easier to keep current.
